b. Annual membership renewals - Renewals will go out with newsletter in November.

c. November annual meeting Nov 7th 1319 W. Huron, directions/map on the website, Directors election - @ Scott's place. Ken will contact Norm Cox, Bob will contact Richard Kent. Jim suggested we invite prominent cyclists and pedestrians.

5a. Education/Outreach
Bike to Work Week 2003 (5/11-17) We may need to take this over for the county, since there are few other groups that will work on this. After November, Bob Kr. and Rebecca will head a discussion on this.
Educational Displays
Huron River Drive closure - we could work toward this in the future. The idea would be to start out with a one-time partial closure and one-way street, like the Dexter/Ann Arbor run, possibly May 11th of next year to coincide with BTWW. Jim will head a task force to work toward this.
Saturday event 5/17
Safe Biking course - Due to Bruce's digging, an officer in the AAPD will be teaching Road One to potential LCIs. Ken will have more information at a later meeting.

b. Non-Motorized Coordinators - AA/UM/Washtenaw - Ann Arbor is still saying that the Alternative Transportation Coordinator will be filled, but we have our doubts. Christa is looking for student groups that are working on non-motorized

c. Ann Arbor bicycle law enforcement - Ken gave an update on these discussions. As noted above an officer in the AAPD will be teaching Road I to potential instructors. We are looking for an organization that will be willing to take abandoned bikes for free give away, but without prior inspection. Ken is trying to arrange a time to meet with the AAPD representative to discuss Bicycling Street Smarts.

d. 2002 Elections
November election candidate questionnaire - Kris wrote a draft questionnaire for local politicians. Everyone will review a copy and get back comments to Kris. We will direct potential office holders to get responses back to Kris as well.
