New members - stepan Zumko, Paul ? 4. Actions/news - Safe routes to school, Huron River Drive paving and Closing, Ann Arbor Non-motorized Plan - we had an extensive discussion and generally agreed that we support the recommendations of the non-motorized plan, but are concerned that it will be implemented poorly, bike lanes will be poorly maintained, the city's outdated ordinances will not be updated, and there will continue to be poor/discriminatory enforcement. We support the nonmotorized plan, but we want to make it clear that bike lanes are a mixed benefit 5. Curb your car month - The new website is up and the new brochure is out! Reports from other groups/events Washtenaw Public Health - Bob Kr reported that WPH is putting up a number of bike parking hoops and running some events. UM Nonmotorized transportation - Kris found someone at UM SOPH to have a student look into staff commuting habits and obstacles for staff using nonmotorized transportation for work. Unfortunately, for the second year the University won't be doing anything for Curb Your Car Month.
